About "Plant Shadow"

This Umbrella plant was sitting in my bathroom. The net curtain threw unusual shadows on the wall. This inspired me to paint the picture.

The world is full of inspiration, no matter where one lives. The colours of nature, skies, landscapes, ever changing light, all inspire my thoughts and feelings. Where ever I am I take a sketch pad and camera to capture ideas. Nature for me is always an inspiration to paint. I use vibrant colours in my work because that is how I see the beautiful world we live in.
