About Johan

I was born in Johannesbug in 1957, and have been living in George for the past 26 years. No formal art training, self taught, by studying other artists techniques.Love art & sport, and decided to combine the two, hence the sport paintings.Over the years there were a lot of non sport paintings, of which fortunately many sold.

I have travelled 1000's of km. to sporting venues, to get my sport art autographed, for my own collection. These paintings are now so many, that i have to part with some.

Though i have tried various mediums, oil on canvas is my favourite.
