About Wilna

"I have been painting ever since I can remember. In grade 1 my teacher entered on of my drawings in a competition but it was disqualified as the judges said it was done by a much older person! Although I nearly cried my eyes out, I wasn’t discouraged and painting became my passion!

Art was one of my school subjects until matric (Frade 12)

After school I did my BA degree at Tuks and went on to do my Higher Education Diploma (HED) with Art as one of my subjects.

Ever since then I’ve attended my Workshops and did courses in different mediums (watercolour, pastels, acrylic and oil) and settled on acrylic as my medium of choice. I get my inspiration from everyday life and if I see a pretty picture of photograph I simply have to paint it!"
