Reference West001 About "Red Infinity" I have been tour guiding people for 18 years and without fail every August we go to Nieuwiudtsville, Calvinia in the Hantam and Clanwilliam. As a man I have grown to love the area, but what I really was in love with was the color spectacle of the wild flowers in bloom. I have received a great gift for I take up my brush and in my mind I see the whole picture. I paint from my memory and frame it within my mind. The rest is easy, it flows through my hand onto canvas until I am satisfied that every detail I see is done. |

I am 66 years old. I have never studied art or painting. I am a self-taught musician, songwriter, photographer, and tour guide, having the opportunity to travel, see, observe and remember. Returning from Croatia in 2012 I started drawing and upon inspiration of my wife I painted a windmill and the love affair started. My work flows from my memory onto canvas. My inspiration is creation in all its wonder. My driving force is color and vibrancy.
