Presently Johan is focusing on Still Life and Landscape studies.
He prefer bright fresh colours in his work to achieve an Impressionistic feel. In his latest work he combined loose brushstrokes with a lot of detail. He uses mainly oils, pastels and pen and ink. Johan is fond of nature and draw on it for inspiration to create his new work
