My daughter and I went to visit Babylonstoren in Stellenbosch, we went to the shop there and I saw a beautiful little vase of roses,asked my daughter to take a photo which came out so beautifully I just had to paint it!.

About Margie

After many years of commissioned weavings, painting murals for homes and restaurants as well as painting sets for drama productions, I moved to painting with acrylics on canvas in 2005.
My inspiration is gathered from nature, especially flowers. Flowers have always fascinated me with their inherent variety of beauty, colour and form.
