About "Roots"

I was inspired by a group on old Wild Fig trees near to where I live. I love the way the branches have grown into each other and intertwined, to form amazing shapes.The symbolism of the tree is growth and life.

About Lindsay

I'm a Graphic Designer but Oil Painting has always been my passion. I love the use of bright color and loose brush strokes. My inspiration comes from the things I see around me, kids playing, the sea, mountains, interesting objects, and the human body. I have done various part-time courses at Ruth Prowse School of Art.
I don't paint as much as I would like to as I have three daughters who keep me busy, but whenever I have a moment, you will find me in my studio, painting.
