About "Shell Memories"

The beautiful shells on display in art class, took me back years ago when I was still a child. I have wonderful memories as a child walking along the beach and collecting all different kind of shells. I could smell the sea, hear the waves rolling in and out. I could feel the salty cold water against my skin and the sand between my toes. With all my senses been stimulated, my hand was just following my feelings to create this piece of artwork.

Everything that is beautiful and pure, inspires me to take up my pencil and create a life-long memory.

I started with art classes in May 2012.
I had no formal education or previous experience of art before.
To me, my art is a God-given talent that I only have discovered recently.

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1991 in Bloemfontein UOVS and is still a practicing physiotherapist.
