About Retta

"It has been my privilege to tutor Retta in the past and to have her as a friend and fellow artist. From the start she exhibited excellent perceptional and creative dexterity as an artist.
Retta displays an uncompromising ability to capture and paint nature scenes and especially detail perfectly. She is also adept in all other areas of painting, drawing an mixed media. She chooses work that is arresting in intensity but harmonious to her senses of her world. Well travelled and exposed to many art techniques; she combines charm and skill to all her paintings. She paints because she has to paint - and that is always commendable for any upcoming artist."

As a child, I was always drawing or painting something. With no art education or training until 2004, I am now in a position to follow my passion and that is to paint. I hope it brings you as much pleasure as it does me.
