About Derick

I enjoy a challenge and I love to experiment. I continually practice using new painting techniques and because of this I have painted just about any subject under the sun. Once I have mastered or developed a technique I am inclined to convey a spiritual aspect to a subject by playing with light.I see light as an embodiment of an "Universal Consciousness" which is the very fabric of our existence.
