About Cate

Catherine Louise Strauss: After being educated and working in the Performing Arts industry for 15 years, at first as an Opera and Jazz singer and later running an Educational Children’s Theater company…acting, writing, making props, costumes, puppets and building stages, she got hooked on creating many-a-thing, using different art forms and materials. 5 years ago she left the performing arts industry, and now plays in life, creating uniquely designed objects of art as well as functional art pieces. Her main focuses are Mosaic art and she also makes use of the material, normally being used to make artificial rocks for pools.
