About "Sitting on the Bench"

This painting was done by Mia Venter when she was suffering from a bit of depression because of illness that plagued her.
The size given is of the artwork itself excluding the framework.
Mia Venter was a fulltime artist since 1979 and did all her work in oil. She was well known for her paintings of cosmos, roses and mixed flowers. She also did some abstract work when she felt like it. Most of them are in collections. She died on 18 February 1999.
