About "Spirit" We saw SPIRIT at the JUKANI Sanctuary near Knysna. His story is incredible. This is a tribute to him. He was rescued from a zoo in Belgium where he was called Diablo and treated badly so became very vicious. He was rescued and brought back to SA but they had to call in Anna Breytenbach to pacify him and found he wanted his name changed and was afraid of humans and being badly treated again. She communicated with him and the whole interaction can be seen on You Tube with Anna Breyetenbach, an Animal Communicator. |

I love animals and nature and although I have had no formal training, I spent many years with one of Durban's best teachers Gail Baxter and belong to the North Coast Art Group. I paint because I want to convey to the viewer the miracle of nature. Art is my passion. I have become known as the "Meercat Artist" in our area as I love their feisty characters.
