About "Storm & Good Hope"

Early on the morning of Christmas Eve, just before sunrise, I hiked up Lion's Head with my brother. We were greeted by a beautiful sunrise. I used 6 images and stitched them together to give a 180 degree view of Cape Town at sunrise.

When the dutch first can to Cape Town in the 17th century they named it the Cape of Storms, but later renamed it to the Cape of Good Hope. Thus the title of the photograph: Storms & Good Hope
