About "Sunburned"

Adrian sat for us very patiently. His head was quite sunburned from the weekend and the color was rich and that caught my eye and also the perfect shape of his head. This painting is a quick study done in an hour, which adds to it's spontaneity and quick brushwork and one of my best efforts up to date.
