About "Sunburst"

I love winter, but this year I find extremely cold. Yet, when I thought about summer and sweating and how I don't appreciate it at all, I spontaneously started with this painting, imagining how the sun wil shortly burst open again in all its scorching glory, accentuated here with gold leaf.
