About "Thaba Ya Batswana Chapel"

This is where I got married. It is a beautiful venue, south of Johannesburg near Kliprivier. The sky in the photo of the chapel was brewing a big storm, typical Gauteng thunderstorm.

About Nola

Nola Cornish

I have been very fortunate to travel extensively throughout the world, and the photographs I have taken have been the main inspiration for my paintings. The natural beauty in the world, the perfection of landscapes, skies, oceans, plants. I am involved with all forms of creativity, from painting and drawing, to card making/scrapbooking and cake decorating. My true passion lies in painting however, and since school I have dabbled here and there, but it's only been the last 2 years that I have started to take it seriously and been commissioned to paint by word of mouth. I have attended workshops, completed a landscape course and am currently a member of an art guild which holds regular demonstrations and lessons.
My paintings move through a series of definite phases as I am creating them. It's an extremely cathartic process.
Even though I now live in the USA, my heart is African and will remain so no matter where the road takes me.
