About Arnold
1952- Simon Stone is a South African who studied Fine Art at the Michaelis School in Cape Town, and later continued his art studies in Italy. Simon lived in Johannesburg for several years and is now based in Knysna on the south-east coast and the Karoo. Since the late 1970's, he has worked in oils, mosaics and watercolours sketchbooks. He is recognized as one of South Africa's finest painters, and his work is held in corporate, private and public collections in South Africa and internationally, including the South African National Gallery.
