About "The City Lights"

The dreamy colorful lights inspired me to paint this and made me think of how dreamy and colorful city life can be.. It's like living in a machine with all the lights working and signalling.

About Jamie

From a young boy I had always liked the idea of being an artist, but never believed I could be.

Drawing a likeness to something just seemed out of my reach.

Then one day I decided that I had as much chance of being an artist as anyone, so I began to practice often until my perception of objects around me changed. Once I saw the relationships of objects and their environments, drawing and painting accurately became a lot easier.

I would like o steer my art into the sci-fi and fantasy genre some day, but for now am still happy to just produce beautiful landscape paintings.
