About "The Fallen Rise II "

The Fallen Rise II depicts the horizontal view of a wave breaking through. This is symbolic of the natural forces that nature can bring before us. The height of the wave is symbolic of the pinnacle of natures potential. The artwork surface has small reliefs and textures. I use a protective glaze coat over my paintings which makes my artworks highly durable to water, sunshine and dust particles. Signed on the front.

"The mind is like a canvas, the more open-minded you are...the more colours you can use."

This is the motto that South African contemporary artist Sean Knipe embraces as he embarks on creating every individual art piece. As he paints he opens his mind to the endless possibilities of colour, texture, composition and hues available to the artist and combines these elements with every brush stroke in order to capture tales of the souls journey towards inner-freedom.

As an artist he plants all his energy and emotion into every art piece, crafting an aesthetic work of art, which not only is pleasing to the eye but also leaves the viewer with a lasting sense of relaxation and inner piece.

Sean's artwork varies in style from realistic art, three-dimensional (3D) art to abstract art. He is able to work in all mediums and is always prepared to take on commissions.

"I will never get tired of creating art, for my love of art serves as the fuel for every piece I create - ultimately love has no boundaries," says Knipe.

He enjoys working with natural, earthy colours. Beyond his emotions, other inspirations include special people, music, his faith, and of cause love.
