About "The King Returns"

The piercing eyes as if to say "this is my land, I'm the king" The most distinct feature one could say is the lions maine which I tried to capture in this sketch. One can feel it, touch it, and with the highlights in the maine draws ones eyes to the lion's very own eyes

About Daniel

For me, capturing a subject as close to reality as possible, is called art. Have you ever looked at someones art and went "is that real or is it a drawing". I try to follow in the footsteps of thoughs who can do that in my eyes. My biggest inspiration comes from the lady in my life and the passion of the other living creatures that make earth so diverse.

I was originally born in Newcastle, South Africa where i lived most of my life before taking a big leap into the "unknown" At the Moment there is nothing more rewarding than seeing smiles on faces and saying "thats a great piece of work"
