About "The Lady Flautist"

The artist sees life in each piece of metal, and consistently works by cutting and shaping, hammering and firing, to expose what he knows lies within the metal. Whilst testing the parameters of a new cutting tool, a piece of sheet metal transformed into a lacey garment. The beauty of which was reminiscent of a gentle bygone era of feminine intrigue. As he sculpted and shaped, the form of 'The Lady Flutist' emerged portraying serenity and grace. Even as She was formed and shaped so we too are formed and shaped. This art piece, The Lady flutist, took the artist 6 weeks to complete.
