The Matterhorn inspired me in the late summer, due to the crisp bright light. Painted in an impressionistic manner.

About Anya

I Anya Heinz was born in London in 1950 and reside in South Africa. I am an Associate member of the South African Water Colour Society, but enjoy painting in oils and acrylic equally. I am very versatile in choice of subject matter and medium. I enjoy painting African wild life, sea scapes, landscapes, portraits and figures. I also enjoy painting subjects in semi abstract style. I love vibrant colour and try and make my paintings glow with light.
One of my greatest satisfactions is for others to appreciate and gain pleasure from owning one of my paintings.
