About "The Mother and Child" I have painted many mother and child paintings during my career. I think it’s a recurring theme I never seem to get out of my mind. Deep down it might be an outlet for the grief stricken feelings I harbor because of the loss of my own mother. In this version of the Mother and child theme I have rendered the subjects in a cold light with expressionistic and paint strokes trying to convey the turbulent emotion yet somber mood of this sad scene |
