About Nkosikhona
Nkosikhona Bongamahlub Ngcobo is 29-year-old African Male who is multi-talented and highly skilled in the field of Artistic Graphic Design and Photography. He grew up in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal and studied Graphic Design at Vaal Triangle Technikon in South Africa. His powerful weapon is respect, Ubuntu, art, design, photography and education. Every day I rise up to the challenge and use my vibrant voice, influence, creativity and innovation to pursue a better life for all.
Awards and Achievements 2008: Honoured, for the first time in the country, by the First Lady, Mrs Zanele Mbeki, to present my award-winning film Praying for Peace, at the recent Southern African Development Community Women and Peace Dialogue and honouring me as a peace ambassador. 2008: Two Awards at the 8th edition of Biennale of African Contemporary Art Dak Art 2008 (International Exhibition) in Senegal: Award of the Ministry for the Culture and Award of the Zuloga Foundation 2007: Designing a logo for Thusong Service Centre 2000: Certificate - Senior Category for the Creative Art Competition (Alberton, South Africa) 2001: Best Progress in Design at the Vaal University of Technology

2005: My creative artwork was published in Laugh it Off Magazine: Volume 2 2007- 2008 Visuals communication adviser: Collaborated with Thobeka Ndabula on a book project as an adviser. Community Projects
I enjoy working with communities and empowering young people to control their lives and destiny. I do this through my project called Giving Back to the Community Project (GBCP). This initiative aims to use art to improve conditions for children, young people, and socially marginalized groups in South Africa.
