About "Timeless Cape"

In this painting I have tried to recreate the haunting beauty and simplicity of the Cape. In this magical part of South Africa, people have resisted the urban call and instead have carried on living a simple and honest life, letting the ocean provide them with sustenance and a livelihood. I am glad that places like these still exist, and remind us that there is an alternative to the hustle and bustle of the urban life.
