Studied HED Domestic Science at Potchefstroom University during which time she was introduced to the arts. Started painting in 1995 took art lessons over a period of 4 years from various artists in Mpumalanga namely : Melite Grobler, Belinda Wessels, Carel Maree and Boe v Zyl.
