About "Told You So" In response to numerous requests by friends and family to paint something a bit more cheerful, I retaliated with this illustration. I rendered the images with broad vigorous strokes using carbon powder and pastel. My only visual comment in this illustration is that no matter who you are, the sadder, darker image on the left immediately catches your eye and then continues to captivate. In it one can find questions and a deeper meaning. Enough said, hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I did painting it! |
