About "Tough Stuff - African Buffalo"
I found this buffalo grazing in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. After photographing him, I printed a black and white image and then set to work with inks, spray paint, and pen. In this vibrant fusion of color, I've merged the spirit of African motifs with the energy of street art. The work is a dazzling celebration--bold, urban strokes mostly from Europe, alongside ancestral patterns and KhoiSan rock art. It's a visual dialogue of tradition and modernity, wildness, humor, and whimsy in a new and fresh take on Safari art.

About Ann
I have created several series of works, Wild Africa, Prey.Pray. Zulu Lulu, and the "EWE or sheep series."
In 2006 Ann started her Ewe series of works, which propelled her into local and global recognition.
In addition, Ann is a published writer, journalist, teacher and facilitator of Art &workshops targeting corporate, domestic and educational target markets.
