Reference EAS0017 About "Traditional Indian dancer in repose" I sketched and took photos of this resting young Indian dancer with the idea of capturing her in oils. I did not like the original colour of her sari, shocking pink, so I changed it to green, with her kind permission, and added a pattern I liked. I loved trying to get the feel of the golden braid and the shine and authenticity of her golden bangle. I am happy with the effect I achieved. |
