About "Venus" Vineyard Venus's stance, hair and even the stalk-like neck, with added artistic licence is an interpretation of a playful doll that the artist made from some vine sticks. The artist decided to create a venus of more sophisticated aesthetic appeal, portraying a charming feminine aspect of the vine as well as showing the complexity of Mother Nature. The aspect of ambiguity in nature [0xC3A2][0x1][0x1] seemingly a fitting consort of wine [0xC3A2][0x1][0x1] resulted in covering half of the face with vine leaves implying that half of her senses is covered; asleep or unconscious. This is also said of wine, that it is a living substance and that individual bottles have their lunar on and off days. |
