Welcome Danca

Born : 30th March 1978, Gcilima on the South Coast of KwaZulu- Natal.

Makhumbuza High School, Umlazi.
3Year Diploma inGraphic Design at Durban Institute of Technology Durban .
Welcome was taught painting by the well known artist Trevor Makhoba
for four years.
Welcome is well known for his traditional work , however his new work is contemporary and has a great base at the body of the work which is true to the artists and his story of ART!.Welcome likes to paint the traditional Zulu way of life showing
customs and ceremonies and hopes that people will gain an appreciation and understanding for the Zulu culture from his work.
