It is a very low-resolution photograph, very painterly in itself, which I worked on in miniature before re-photographing and reprinting on a large scale. the different internal layers works together to lay bare an uncanny, autonomous cat looking back at the viewer. |

I tend to focus specifically on companion animals but I am also interested in current re-workings of traditional concepts surrounding landscapes. I work with my own photographs and found images which I rework in miniature before printing it on a large scale. I often rework the final surface as well.
