Reference artnow a About "Zulu Sunrise" the picture i a traditional Zulu elder. She was photographed at the annual Zulu Reed Ceremony, where close to 15000 Zulu maidens go to celebrate their heritage and pay respect to the King. This artwork is symbolic of the lonely life that the traditional woman have in a vast future. Their husbands and family leave for the cities to get work and the elder woman remain in the rural areas. Even though they stand together their is alot of pain and hardship reflected in their eyes. |

I told the healer of the dream, he said to me that the dream meant one day i would help all these women. so, this series is a strong locamotive to make the dream come to fruition.
