About Barbara

Born in Frankfurt, Germany. Started painting at the age of 15 with oil paint.
At the age of 24 quit the studies of Art and English at the University in Frankfurt to become a pilot with Lufthansa.
In 2007 I resigned and moved to Dubai. I became a member of the "Dubai International Arts Centre", to work on my technique under the guidance of a professional fine art painter.

I like to paint contemporary realism. Mainly subjects like women as well as landscapes, portraits and still lives.
