About Claire Claire is an artist residing in the small town of Hilton in the Kwa-Zulu Natal midlands. Most of her works have an undeniably African feel to them. Claire has a keen interest in photography and over the years has built up a large resource pool of images to inspire her paintings. These photos include African wildlife, landscapes, cultural aspects of Africa (both traditional and of the "new", emerging culture) and San paintings from her years of hiking in the Drakensberg. She feels very strongly against "copying" photos and therefore her paintings are all unique and her own interpretation of the subject matter.
