About Karen

I have loved to draw for as long as I can remember. The first drawing I remember doing was a mural in ballpoint on my parents bedroom wall! I was about three years old.

Most of my commissions so far have been portraits and wildlife. The subjects I choose are anything that strikes me as beautiful and creates a desire to try and put it on canvas or paper. To be able to capture a moment in time, an expression or mood is my ultimate goal. My hope is that the viewer will be able to experience it too.
