About Marlene

Marlene Els Pieterse Born 11 June 1986 in Nelspruit South-Africa

I am a natural artist, but I prefer to think of my talent as God-given. This is the only aspect of my life that doesn't bore me. It is like meditation to me, I breathe easy when I practice my art.

I use different mediums (oil, pastel, acrylic, charcoal and pencil). My favorite is oil on canvas. I love using BOLD, SHOCKING colors, even though I'm not into abstract painting.

I am very intrigued by other artists, different methods and techniques. I want to learn as much as possible!

I live in Pretoria South-Africa.
