About Maureen

My Passion started back in 1974 when I first started exploring the avenues of art by focussing my attention on drawing maps at school, I will be honest, I was obsessed with drawing maps, but I soon realized that I need a bigger challenge to test my skills, which is when I decided to focus my attention on animal art. It was at that point that I came to recognise in me, the talent and love for art that I developed since childhood. My love and focus areas are animals, people and scenery. Nature is my place of tranquillity and the attention to detail I place in my work, keeps me challenged.
