About "Hope"

The belief that although we South Africans have many obstacles to overcome, the very process of working through the problems will help us to overcome them. The baby represents re-birth of a nation, the fire represents the cleansing of the old, the checker board represents that we have to work together to win, and the hands are mine reaching for the future with great hope and faith.
