About "Mandela & the 2010 Rainbow Children"

Nelson Mandela, the father of South African democracy is an inspiration to us all. He brought us the Rugby World Cup and now brings us the 2010, Soccer World Cup. This painting was created to raise funds for The Nelson Mandela Children's fund and Jeppe Boys, a boys only high school that is in desperate need of money to support the hundreds of South African Boys of all races who come mainly from poor backgrounds. This piece of art is dedicated to one of the world's greatest leaders and a cause that supports what Nelson Mandela stands for. The right to achieve your potential, freedom, education, expression.

About Greg

Greg Norman

My passion is sculpture and oil painting. Art has no boundaries. It is not confined to being decorative. I'd like to ensure that there is always energy, movement and a dialogue between each piece and the viewer. Like all things, art is open to interpretation, subjective opinion and appeal. I don't want to be universal or controversial. Just relevant.
