About Jeff
ARTIST DIED 11 MAY 2019
After graduating from High School, Jeff achieved a Diploma (BA Fine Arts equivalent) in Art Education followed by a Diploma in Graphic Design from the Port Elizabeth School of Art.
He then embarked on a career in Advertising as a designer / illustrator. In 1984 he became self-employed and ran a design studio called 'The Advertising Company.' At this stage he worked on his fine art in whatever time he had available and finally, with a large commission from SAA in 1992, he decided to go into Fine Art full time.
Jeff has had many one-man shows featuring his landscape, steam engine and motorcycle paintings. He has also been involved in numerous group shows and other art related projects. His work can be found in many corporate and private collections in South Africa, the UK, and the United States of America.
Jeff is represented as follows:
- South Africa by 'The te Water Gallery' & 'The Hester - Rupert Art Museum' in Graaff Reinet
- Namibia 'The Hobbyhorse Gallery' in Swakopmund
- United States of America: 'The Tribal Fire Gallery' in Sedona, Arizona & 'The Harris Gallery' in Houston, Texas
