About Ita
I'm painting full time again and loving the new genre of Watercolor painting.I have previously preferred oils.
I also love to paint portraits, ethereal landscapes, stil lifes and a little qurky abstracts for the humor and joy it portrays. I can also paint commissions when a good photo can be e mailed or send by WhatsApp to me.I am so greatful to have the opportunity to paint again I have studied portrait painting under Johanna Wassenaar while still at University but whilst teaching I never found time to paint.I have found my nemesis, my special little place in the sun with my oils and lately the difficult genre of Watercolos so am so filled with joy to create what I see around me.I love painting portraits and to really capture the soul in their expressions.It is also so rewarding to capture nature around me in my seascapes and landscapes.
