About Genevieve

Born in South Africa.
I have traveled extensively. My favourite way of assimilating the experience of each country is through drawing, painting and photography.

I have drawn and painted my whole life. My art has provided me with a loyal friend at times, a defiant fiend at others. Whilst I have frequently worked from dreams over the years, my most recent work involves archetypal subject matter. It is an exciting dialogue with the subconscious.

In broad categories, my work includes: still-life, nudes, landscapes, portraits, travelogues, wildlife, animals, interiors and buildings, abstracts.
