Reference 6811 About "The Autopsy of the Apostle Paul" This work originally showed at Everard Read Gallery in Johannesburg in 1992, but didn't sell. I took it home and for the next 13 years fiddled with it, put things in, removed things, changed colours, sequences. It got to be such an issue that I neglected to show it in its revised state except on a retrospective at the Epsac Gallery in PE in 2001 and not for sale. Since then I have decided that it is not likely to undergo any further changes and can be put up for sale. I have had it hanging in my house since I completed it and am happy with how it has come out in the end. |
