About Erika

Art is "My Happy Place" and I'm grateful for my talent!
I am inspired by the beauty of everyday life (people, music, books, quotes). My shoe paintings started a few years ago with my daughter's wedding shoes. My favourite shoe quote..."I make shoe contact before eye contact".
My preferred medium is acrylic paint (in bold colours) and mixed media. Although I love painting shoes, I also paint landscapes, still life, street scenes and sometimes a portrait.
