About "Weaver 2" Waking each morning to birdsong, it is a short step to want to include these weavers in my more impressionist manner of painting trees and landscapes. I am well pleased with the contrasting effect created by the more realistic portrayal of the bird alongside the exploration of vivid natural colours in the background. |
