About "African Girl with Strands"

This child has a very fragile look in her eyes. The desire of putting my fingers ander the strands and lifting it one by one made me do this schetch. Children will always depend on adults, we must handle them very tenderly.

Bautifull landscapes, still-lifes and portraits make me so enthusiastic for taking up my brushes. I am an induvidualist,
coming from a farm nearby Douglas in the Northern Cape, where everything in nature is grey-green, and now where I am living in Great Brakriver (Mosselbay) everything outside is lush green and beautiful, giving you that extra mile to go.
