About "African Wild Elephant"

In crafting this artwork, I've explored a vibrant fusion of bushman rock art with street art working on my original photograph of a black rhino from the Addo National Park, South Africa. Using graffiti, pen, stencils, spray paint, and alcohol-based ink, I worked on the black-and-white original image drawing from graffiti art (mostly Amsterdam) and throwing in a Bansky rat, as well as Khoisan art. . This painting captures the fierce spirit of the rhino, symbolizing resilience and strength. Splashes of vivid colors and whimsical graffiti motifs create a playful yet profound visual narrative, inviting viewers into a dynamic, emotionally charged space. This piece champions the beauty of nature's giants, wrapped in the energetic dance of urban artistry. I am passionate about the bushveld and portraying the images of the animals.

I have created several series of works, Wild Africa, Prey.Pray. Zulu Lulu, and the "EWE or sheep series."
In 2006 Ann started her Ewe series of works, which propelled her into local and global recognition.

In addition, Ann is a published writer, journalist, teacher and facilitator of Art &workshops targeting corporate, domestic and educational target markets.
