About Boniface Matthews

I am Mostly known as Bon Chandiyamba, I am married with two daughters and a son. I was born at Likoma Island in Malawi but I now live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I enjoy a lot working on abstract though I am mostly known for my "Ant figure style". This is a style I developed in the early 70's of faceless thin long dark figures, inspired by Soldier Ants and day today peoples' activities. Colour and movement plays a big role in Ant figure style. Most of my subjects are softer and enlightening. I feel I have a task of inspiring people in this busy and stressful World of to day. I will always try my best to give people a laughter.
